Who is responsible

Devoid of Beauty is responsible for personal data processed through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email devoidofbeautyde@gmail.com.

Information processed

  • Website requests: the hosting provider may process an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, referrer information, and response or security logs.
  • Messages: if you email the band or contact it through an external platform, the information you include is used to answer your message.

This site has no accounts, checkout, analytics, advertising, contact forms, or cross-site tracking.

Why information is processed

Request data is processed to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and keep the service secure. Messages are processed to respond to inquiries. These activities rely on legitimate interests in operating a secure website and communicating with people who contact the band, or on steps requested before an agreement where applicable.

Service providers and external links

The website is hosted by Vercel. Email is handled through Gmail. Links to Bandcamp, Instagram, and other third-party services take you to sites that operate under their own privacy policies. Those services may process data outside the European Economic Area using their own legal safeguards.

Retention

Technical logs are retained only as long as the hosting provider needs them for delivery, reliability, and security. Messages are kept only as long as needed to answer the inquiry, maintain relevant records, or meet legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Contact the band using the email above. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Security and changes

The site uses HTTPS, restrictive browser security headers, and a Content Security Policy. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This policy will be updated when the site's data practices materially change.
